Oh my gosh, everyone, I can't get over how great True Detective is. (The first season, that is!) Literally typing this before I begin another episode. I really can only watch it before it gets dark out because it has a lot of "jump scare" scenes and don't sleep well the closer I watch it before going to sleep. I'm a baby, it's fine.
I'm also LOVING the book I'm reading, Atomic Habits by James Clear. One of my focuses for the year is to read at least 25 minutes/day. I've been cruising through the chapters (which rarely happens when I read) first thing in the morning with my cup of coffee and Remy snoring next to me. HIGHLY recommend this book if you're looking for a great read.
What about you? Are you watching anything or diving into a great book? I'd love to hear about it! Anyway, keep reading to see what's coming up with S.T.E.
The Confident Podcast
Focusing on growth and self-confidence this year, being a guest on my dear friend Lisa Tarkington's podcast marked a a big step towards self-confidence. We spoke about imposter syndrome and one quote that always sticks with me is shown below. So next time you start to have that negative self talk (because it will happen) Re-focus and ask 'Why not today? Why not you?' Just remember you GOT THIS. Whatever it is.
My appearance on The Confident Podcast was truly impactful and it pushed me beyond my comfort zone. I highly recommend adding this podcast to your 'must-listen' list because Lisa and her guests provide applicable and realistic tools with confidence and well-being. Grateful for this experience and the supportive people around me!

CRISP & GREEN Class Recap and Stay Tuned!
The photo says it all! So.freaking.fun. I was thrilled to be able to lead another class at CRISP & GREEN in January and it's moments like these that fill me with gratitude to be able to do this as a career. Not sure if you remember but there were some pretty cold days in Minnesota that month, this day being one of them and these fabulous humans STILL showed up and worked hard. Makes my heart so happy.
*Stay tuned for more details with upcoming classes including one on Saturday, March 23rd at 9:30am and April 27th at 9:30am! This time I'll be teaching at Lululemon at Mall Of America!
Age is Just a Number
Thanks to the Blue Zones (check out the documentary on Netflix or grab any of the books), I've been diving deep into the fascinating world of longevity and graceful aging lately. Recently, I decided to mix things up and tried out some classes at a new gym. Yep, even personal trainers need their own workouts!
Now, let me tell you about this one class: I walked in and realized I was easily the youngest person there by at least 20 years. But you know what? Age didn't matter one bit. This crew was crushing it! We're talking battle ropes, weights, TRX – you name it. I was blown away by their dedication and energy. And let me tell you, they were ALL in it, no matter what modifications they needed or how long it took. Truly inspiring stuff my friends.
So, here's the takeaway: Whether you're getting back into your routine or thinking about starting something new, remember this – age is just a number. It's never too late to begin.
What's one small step you can take today to prioritize your well-being, regardless of your fitness level or your age? Who is supporting you with your goals?
As always, your wellness journey matters, and I'm here to support you every step of the way. Feel free to message me in the "chat now" feature of my site or email kaylie@strengthtoempower.com
